Police Warn Parents about mobile phone GPS app after alleged sex assault
A 54-year-old Vancouver man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old North Vancouver youth after using a new mobile GPS technology designed to help gay men hook up. Brent Tynan, 54, of Vancouver, faces charges of sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and sexual assault, RCMP Cpl. Marlene Morton said in a press release. Ex-Teacher Sentenced for Filming Porn With Student
ALEXANDRIA, Va. A former teacher at a Fauquier County middle school has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison for producing child pornography by filming himself engaging in sexual activity with a student. Thirty-four-year-old Scott C. Howe, who taught at Cedar Lee Middle School, was convicted at a bench trial earlier this year. Howe used a video camera on multiple occasions to document sexual activity between himself and a teenage student who had been assigned to him for special instruction. Howe plied the victim with alcohol and filmed some of the sex acts at the school.

Then the media exploded. Suddenly it was on the evening TV news on every station. Then it was on the radio, the talk shows, and the front pages of the papers. Then the major Catholic fund-raising…

A Question of Priorities (DADT won't end it. How about cross-dressing, transgender, and bisexual?)
Earlier this year, while testifying at a Senate hearing, a former NATO Commander and Marine General, John "Jack" Sheehan, committed an extreme violation of political correctness. He contended that openly gay soldiers undermine military effectiveness. The general has since apologized for his comments after apparently getting his mind right. Nevertheless, as Congress and the president have renewed their push for the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell (DADT) and the Secretary of Defense has offered tepid support, perhaps his original statement merits more careful consideration. The story General Sheehan told the Senate involved a Dutch military unit responsible for guarding…
